    Overview

    GLP-2 analogs, such as teduglutide, are researched for their role in intestinal growth and repair. Teduglutide is FDA-approved for short bowel syndrome.

    Mechanism of Action

    GLP-2 activates GLP-2 receptors on intestinal subepithelial myofibroblasts, promoting crypt cell proliferation, reducing apoptosis, and enhancing intestinal absorption capacity.
