    Overview

    KPV is a tripeptide derived from alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It is researched for its potent anti-inflammatory properties, particularly in gut inflammation, skin conditions, and immune modulation.

    Mechanism of Action

    KPV enters cells and inhibits NF-κB activation and inflammatory cytokine production (IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6). It can cross the blood-brain barrier and has been studied for both systemic and localized anti-inflammatory effects.

    Research literature discusses oral/capsule forms at 200–500 mcg per day, or subcutaneous at 200–400 mcg per day. Topical and suppository forms are also studied.

    Reconstitution Guide

    Vial size: 5 mg Water volume: 2 mL bacteriostatic water Concentration: 2,500 mcg/mL (2.5 mg/mL) Add bacteriostatic water slowly. Gently swirl to dissolve.

    Storage Guidelines

    Before reconstitution: Store at -20°C or refrigerated. After reconstitution: Refrigerate at 2–8°C. Use within 3–4 weeks.
